Can't type an ë

I can't make an ë anymore in word or any letter like that.

Normally you would do shift+"+e

But as you can see this is my real life attempt right here -> "e

It just doesn't work anymore ? It's not any CTRL+Left Shift bussiness either...

For my keyboard I press the ¨ button and then e. No shift, alt or anything. Check your keyboard/language settings.

As an alternative method, hold Alt and type 137 in keypad.

I have a razer black widow tournament so no keypad >.<

Start Menu -> Run -> type 'charmap' -> search the symbol and copy/paste it

Check that your keyboard region is set correctly. UK and US keyboards cannot do such characters. German/Swiss keyboards can.
