Hey its me again. And this time I am really and seriously confused...

I wanted to make an ability that would null the movement speed of enemies in a targeted area for etc. 5 seconds. I tried using the Silence Spell(it can modify movement speed, or atleast it should be able to) however when I sat the movement speed modifier to -10.00 (Which should be over a 1000% reduction, nothing happened)... When that diden't work I tried using a 0 cooldown shadow strike to null the movement speed of all units picked in an area. Nothing happend. The units simply don't change movement speed.

I even tried using the Trigger to set their movement speed to 0. This time they were slowed a bit, but nothing more. The target units did NOT have any other effects that could change their speed.

Advice please.

Reducing movespeed by trigger has flaws :
1) The minimum ms is 1, even when you edit the constant to 0,
2) It doesn't take care of all kind of ability (for example, if you set the ms of a hero wearing boots +50 to 1, he will actually have a ms of 51).

Another difference between those methods is that you can't blink with enshare but you still can if your ms is reduced by trigger.

I actually also tried using an Entangling Roots spells to be trigger cast on each unit picked. But I wonder, do I need to create one dummy for each target to be rooted? Even when there is a cooldown of 0 on the spell?

Never mind, I changed the Minimum Movement Speed to 0 and the spell now works without a single trigger. Thx for it Watermelon_1234 (See, I buggered to write your FULL name:D)
