Can't run Oinkerwinkle's Vertex Editor

well the problem is when I open it it tells me that and then it opens the program and every thing is black I tried adding a models recalculate the normals and still cant see nothing but black and though maybe it has worked then saved the model but the geosets all vertex were deleted I think the problem is the thing in picture please teach me how to fix it

Edit: I'm using a laptop,I've changed the deciminal point now the program opens without eror but still not showing geosets
