Can't open Custom map files

Hi, I recently got a new computer and I installed Wc3 and when I transfer all my maps I've been working on I can't open them. I need to open the normal world editor and then "open file" to get to my map, its quite annoying.

Is there anyway to fix it?

Isn't there an option "Always open this file type with the selected program" when you choose the program from the list?

Yea, I did and I selected the program "World Editor" from the wc3 file. But it doesn't work.

What campaigns you're trying?

If if the author has made the campaign using different a kind of editor then you're unable to open it.

Im just trying to open one of my custom maps, not campaign, just a normal custom map.

Oh yea I read "campaign".

Well it's same thing, if it's made with different editor or the map is protected you can't open it. Maybe your map is corrupted and you can't open it?

Did something special happen when you saved last time your map?

The melee maps works just fine, and im 100% sure that my maps aint corrupted.

It also happens to me eversince, never bothered to ask why...

but since I have the WE on the superbar, its faster to just open the editor then hit CTRL+O than opening folders... haha...

Yeah, but it takes much more time.
