Can't give items to neutral units?

Hi

So I had a plan to make a chest that would mix two items together depending on what you gave it, but I can't seem to give items to it when it is a neutral unit. Any ideas?

Does it have an inventory?

Yes it works perfectly when it's owned by me or any allied players. But not when neutral passive

If I understand it correctly, then neutral units are neither allied nor enemies.
Try setting the neutral player to an ally.

That works but I wanted to avoid having to use a player slot for 1 unit..

No need to take up a slot. You can just use this to make it work:

• Actions
  • Player - Make Player 1 (Red) treat Neutral Passive as an Ally

You can even reset alliance treatment to neutral again after the item is given if the alliance change affects any of the gameplay.

Give the unit the ability "shared shop" (dont know how it is called in english, i think something like this). Maybe that would serve you.

doubleclick on the unit then go to inventory and slot 1 click on it and select item
