Can't give Blizzard (a) Cast Time

I'm trying to give to the spell blizzard a 2s cast time.
But the spell simply ignore anything in the field "Casting Time"

Any idea?

(Actually, I just need a area damage spell that deals damage to anything in the area)

Have you considered flame strike? that might work.

Blizzard is channeling, so casting time wont, for some reason, not work. Use flamestrike/silence/cluster rockets or anything else instead. If you want to make a blizzard spell with casting time... I would use cluster rockets, and give very high Missile arc... don't know...

wouldnt that delay all rockets for 2 seconds? meaning the hero could move away and the "rockets" would still deal damage in the AoE for 2 seconds afterwards

Well, blizzard have a casting time, its 1s. Can't be changed in the editor

I'm using it with a dummy caster and polledwait2 vexorian function.

Can't use the others spell said here because of another issues.
