Cant get Soundset to work!

Im getting quite tired of getting my custom soundset to work..

1. I edited and saved the files as wav.
2. I created a new map with a rifleman
2. I imported them and set the path to exmaple:

Sound\Units\Human\Rifleman\RiflemanDeath.wav

and i tried:
Units\Human\Rifleman\RiflemanDeath.wav
and some other paths.

I even tried the easiest way by just replace internal sound so i dident need to do anything really. But it still wont work ingame.

i made sure that the rifleman had the rifleman soundset <_>

I tested to make a trigger that played the sound after 5 sec but it dident play.
Then i imported the same file without the path to rifleman, and then it played.
so i know the sound COULD work.

since the sound played in-game it must be the path that is wrong?

I looked up two guides and followed them but the result have been another 2 hours of failing :>

That was the guide i was following, thats why i choosed a rifleman unit :p

someting that is bugging me is that, in the guide he says i should use the path: Sound\Units\Human\Rifleman\RiflemanDeath.wav

but if i use the "Replace a internal sound" the path is set to:
Units\Human\Rifleman\RiflemanDeath.wav

none of them work for me tho.

If i use the replace internal option and then change the path to the one in the guide. (i add sound in the beginning)
The sound will for some reason reset and play the normal rifleman soundset althought it was my imported custom soundset. Which is very frustrating :S

Hi. So I seem to have figured out your problem. The sound files' size are too big and Warcraft cannot play it. I have experimented with the sounds of other units and it works properly.

I have attached the test map with Arthas sounds for Rifleman.

I recommend that you use Audacity to reduce your sound files' size.

What type of settings do i need on audacity, so that my wav file works and have a small size?
I used Audacity "Uncompressed Export Format" i tried 4bit IMA, 8bit PCM and 16bit PCM and none of them worked ingame, the unit is just silent. 4bit IMA takes the file size down to below 200kb but it dident work either. Any ideas?

The ingame settings seems to be 352kbit/s , how do i get the same? :p
