Cant find my map

I recently got back into WC3, and i found my old map file that i didnt finish, so i wanted to work on it. I added some stuff to it, and i wanted to upload it but i couldnt find it anywhere, i saved it to dozens of areas, and still couldnt find it. Then i went into wc3 to play it, and i couldnt find it there either... HELP?

If you've saved it various times and were working on it recently, it should be somewhere in your history.
Check the most recent maps opened in your World Editor, otherwise check your PC's history.

Sorry this doesn't help at all, I just find it funny how this thread and those quotes kind of relate.

or open WE select save as and see where is it saving the maps...

else you can take a look at the deleted files xD

When i save the map in the editor, it shows the map perfectly, but when i try to upload it to wc3 map sites, its not, even when i try to play it, the map dont show up

its only showing w3m during upload....apparently they dun except frozen throne...or ur uploading it wrong place......either way its filtering it......if anything try and copy and past the filename into the upload....if its there it will try and upload it.. should be AOD protected.w3x

Ive alrdy tried to copy and past the filename and it said something like "couldnt find the file"..and now that i look at it, every map that i download and save into my folder to play on B.NET doesnt show up in-game. Only the maps i download in-game from other players show.. This is pissing me off

EDIT: It figures...the most difficult situations have such easy solutions... I messed around with it for about 2 hours (yes i have no life) and figured that downloading it into my User -> Downloads section works. Stupid VISTA, it makess everything difficult.

That's why I stick with XP, no matter what - I'm not gonna get Vista, maybe the Ultimate edition, but if I can get Windows XP Genuine, I choose that one

No! as epic as the Windows Vista "Ultimate Edition" sounds...dont get it. Theres a website that shows the differences between Windows Vista Basic , Home Premium, and Ultimate. And the Ultimate doesnt include any important things, stick with Windows XP !

Vista is done anyways...windows 7 is coming.....still just as bad it seems but it is coming
