Hi :)
I seem to have this issue, I have moved Malfurion campaign from Tunro and one save I have of it to another pc.
I have checked if directories are correct.
Ingame in custom campaigns, Malfurion campaign is detected. And it's playable if I start it. And if I save it can be loaded.
But when I go to load that save that I transferred I get this error
I don't know if I should have gone to that campaigns thread, but it seems to me that this could happen with any other as well.

Transferring save files to another computer in my experience works, but sometimes issues pop up so it is best to avoid this.

Assuming the Wc3 version/patch is the same on both computers, you need to copy paste the 2 non-save files in addition to the actual save file. By non-save files, I mean if you look at your single player save files, there will always be two that are just generated by the single player saving. I am not sure how to explain it, but if you check, you will notice 2 files in that folder that are not your save files. Make sure to copy/paste them over to your your other computer, in addition to the real save files.

I think I know what you mean.
Here.I have transferred these files.
Campaigns.w3v
malquestv1_4.w3p

also just in case i transfered one more save from other pc "malfurion2019.w3z"
And this one Campaigns.w3p.

Other save does not work either.
And neither does the first one, with these files included.
If those are what you meant.

I cannot access wc3 at the moment so I cannot confirm which ones are the two files.

I can guarantee that transferring save files works. I have done it many times.

Are you using the same Wc3 version?

Is it possible you can go back to your old computer to finish this campaign? Also I notice you are on mission 3--- while it would still take 35 mins + if you were to use "whosyourdaddy", 35 minutes lost is still acceptable loss, considering how good this particular campaign is (Mal Quest).

Yeah I know it works.I've made transfers on many pc's.Only thing it was with older versions when you could just copy paste entire folder.I guess I will finish it there.I wanted to play this at work during night shift. It's the same version.
But I'll finish it at home :peasant-grin:
Either way it seems that save file is targeting location of the campaign and it cannot find it there.
on my home pc i use symbolic links to fool windows and warcraft into "thinking" something is in a directory whilst it is not.
For example i have all my save files and maps in my warcraft 3 directory, but I pointed a symbolic to my documents and to my saved games folder where it created a folder which leads back to my warcraft 3 directory. It's a shortcut, but one that just makes it looks like folder is there.
I hope that did not mess it up even more.Even thogh it should not cause as game is concerned everything is where it is supposed to be :)
