Cannot find file war3.exe

I was just about to test my map after opening it again almost one week after but right as I press the test button an error appears saying,

Cannot find file 'd:\warcraftiii\war3.exe
Please select your Warcraft III application in the Preferences dialog.

War3.exe was probably accidentally deleted so I need to download it again. But just to make sure, I posted it here to find the right solution.

If you had AVAST! Anti Virus then it would of said that your war3.exe was a suspicious file for Win32: evo-gen.

I do use avast antivirus but this is only the first time that it has happened?
Did my antivirus deleted my war3.exe.

Should I just download it again? What should I do?

Deinstall the game, install it again.
If your anti virus program is bugging around you should add war3.exe to the save list, so it won't remove it.

Remember to save things before deinstalling the game.
If you don't have the install, buy it..

You can go into the virus chest and right click on war3.exe and restore it.

I have Avast! too. If Avast! suspects a program or file of being infected or dangerous, it will ask the user what they want to do with the file. In which case, you would have deleted or quarantined it. Upon opening a file, if it identifies it as suspicious, it may ask if you want it to run in "Sandbox Mode". If you know its a legit program, do not run it in "Sandbox Mode" otherwise the compatibility of the program may be affected.

You may have changed the settings for Avast! to automatically take action upon viruses. If so, you can change this setting to prevent the problem occuring again. You can also check the virus vault if there your warcraft is in there. If so, you can "restore" the war3.exe if you are sure it is safe.

However, I'm not certain your antivirus is the problem.

Deinstall the game, install it again.

SeriousEnemy is right. If you cannot find the war3.exe file within your antivirus vault, it has been deleted. So you will have to uninstall yuor warcraft 3, then reinstall it again.

I found it in my virus chest and I was able to restore it. How do I keep this from happening again?

I sent a false positive report it should stop eventually next update is the best chance.
