Can you make a free 3D model from a sketch ?

Hi,

I'm trying to make a 3/4 top down view game in 2D (the view will be similar to Zelda, or even to Warcraft 2)
It's a riddle game but i want it to look like an action rpg (and it will feature a bit of action)


So I already drew some of the characters in Idle animation and i'm going to use some Warcraft 3 models as reference for some walking animation for example

But with my Main Character, i'm stuck !
So maybe someone is interested in doing a model to train modeling skills or dunno for what lol

I got sketches of my character but i'm not good enough at drawing i guess (or it's very hard even for pros) and i'm stuck at drawing his head (and maybe body but for now head) in the 4 directions.
I think it requires a very good artistic sense to do what i require so i don't expect much answers don't worry, i'm realistic. I also don't know if it would take long.

So I request :

- a 3D model with no details and no animation, i just want to be able to turn it and check his head and body, for the animation i got other models to get inspiration
- if you're very very very generous you could do the animations and then i would only have to copy this model lol
- i can't pay anybody, i can only give credits, be very thankful, contact you if its a success (i dont doubt it) and make pub for you and hire you for next projects lol

I already tried but i think it requires the same skill I don't have, imagine the entire guy.
Maybe it's easier because you can see from all angles while building it but it looks like i'll need a lot of time to get used to those 3D programs (i tried already)

I posted here incase someone wants to make it but I bet nobody will answer so it's just "incase"

if you ask me, I thought it would be easier to do in 3D too...

but after thinking, I realized that it's actually easier to just draw the views yourself, because creating the mesh plus making the textures is harder...

yes it's easier BUT if i'm struggling with those views, how hard will i struggle with all the animations ! lol

Actually i'm trying to find some premade 3D models to help me :x

why not try to base it on the models available at the models section? maybe you can find a somehow fitting model there...

Yes I did but for THIS particular guy, it's really hard while for all my other characters not, and this one is my main character rofl
I'm going to modify him but I enjoyed his head T_T

I see you'd think like me if you were doing the same thing

actually, no... since I have time constraints, I usually make use of what's available, since requests can really take a long time...

anyway, I think more people will respond if you get this transferred to the requests section since it's a model request...

(I also use whats available but i'm a bit stuck for now, usually when i ask some help I NEVER get any so it's not like i'm used to ask for help)

just PM a mod to transfer this to requests maybe...

and yeah, from experience, personal requests like this are the least answered... maybe you can try in 3D modelling sites too... just to improve chances of it getting done
