k first... metal.. you have to understand that metal is a smooth texture... so it reflects light...

so you need light reflection somewhere.... and if theres light... theres also a darker part...

but dont forget that the light need to come from the same way for all your armor part...

heres a good example...

In those 2 skins.. theres a lighter part and a Darker part... cause each of them have a curve ... why theres a shadow effect....

People should really start taking an extra minute and check their spelling...firefox even have a fucking spell checker, how the hell can you go wrong with that?! If you don't use firefox, there's tons of spell checkers on the net for crying out loud.
