I tested it, it doesnt crash the map, I had to remove geosets, some nods, geoset animations, materials and textures.

So this lightning bolt that I cleared from other textures and effects is a model, no paritcles. The lightning bolts move too fast, is there a way to make them move slowlier? I'll be adding it as a special effect, not unit model, so I cant really use a trigger to make unit animation slower.

EDIT~ it seems not.

you could open it with magos' and add a 0 to the end of every number

if it is somehow possible to import animations in milkshape you could use the tool "scale animation" but I don't think that it'll work

something which actually works is to convert it to mdl and use some awesome search&replace tool to search all valid animation times and increase them by some value
however you will have to adjust the particles manually (if you have any)

the guy who made this model https://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums...rev=of=score&search=nether%20mage&d=list&r=20 wanted to scale its animation time some day
maybe he knows how to

however the easiest way would be to make a unit look like this effect and set the unit's animation time of the unit to a lower value using triggers
