Campaign idea

I have been thinking of this idea of a campaign. Essentially you're in an completely different world than Azeroth, and the kingdom next to you experiences an unexpected death of the king, although the king has a daughter (princess Riya) she is too young to run the country herself and thus a high ranking lord is appointed to lead the country in her place. This lord regent begins attacking your country and basically trying to annex some land which is yourse but sits right at their border, now this is where you come in, youre a general tasked with repelling the invasion on getting rid of the lord regent who set this whole thing about.

What do you guys think lore wise?

Imo it sounds quite nice. What about the tech trees / races ? Will it be basically humans vs humans, or will some other races / creatures be involved ?

So far everything is in the early planning stage....

Each human faction will have a slightly different tech tree. And you will have to fight other races too.
