Camera minimap tips

I need the mini map to only show the main area of focus i am playing on in full mini map view.

I cant remember the game i played a while back that had something like this done but im pretty sure it can be done, just not sure how and lacking the time to tinker around and figure it out lately.

import a custom mini map view and change its filepath to this "war3mapMap.blp" so it can override the default mini map view. Here's a neat example of what i mean (if you look at it closely you will notice that the in game mini map is customized)

alright i thought there was a way to make it focus on an area with just code but that will work fine then thanks

If i wanted to go back to the normal game minimap would that be easy to do? or once its overwritten its gone..?
Or is it as easy as just deleting the imported minimap .blp from the game?

yeah just delete the imported file
