I think the texture needs some work. It looks more like a bolt / screw to me
Instead your model looks like it has a round edge torus shape around the edge.
You can still achieve the right look while keeping it low res

Actually I tried making it seem more flat, but stretching the texture like that made some really annoying stretch lines, which look horrible imo...
Maybe from a distance it would look fine... Tell me if it looks better and if I should update.

Actually if that's why you like the new version more, you'll be disappointed. Milkshape makes the models darker then they are in WC3, so the lighting will be essentially the same as the old version. Sorry.I like the 2nd more, it's darker and grittier
