BTNWolfwatch

Hi guys, this is my first icon I have made in a long time.

This can be used for gnolls, worgens, wolves or the like :) The abilities could be roar, rage, attack, honour, pride, bite, watch, stalk, prey...etc

Let me know if you have any problems as I don't 100% remember how to do the process of icons. cheers :D

If used, please give credits to Kimberly (from hiveworkshop)

She has done much better work than this, but none the less, its still a great icon, that has been executed well.

Seems like you've been improving in your absence. Much better compared to the rest of your icons. Well done, you're improving. Whoop ;P

I can do better yeah, I just figured I'd make this icon more simple compared to my previous cropped werewolf artwork icons :)

The more simple, the better it looks compressed, well, really, a good balance of details is needed.

Thankyou everyone for your lovely comments, it has been awhile since I have drawn X_X

and i really, really dont know what is the point of this post.
Um, he's praising & giving his opinion of a general rating for it, much like you and others have done?...

I'm getting pretty sick of explaining this to people, 4/5 is not a bad rating, it's a good rating. I really like the icon and the only thing wrong with it is that its style doesn't quite fit right into the game.
Ah.

Yeah, 4/5 is 80/100; that's a B (above average), which is quite good in a lot of ways.

However, have you given any thought to slightly increasing your ratio, so as to allow more expressive ratings? i.e. Something as small as "X/10" gives you a lot more room in terms of grading things. Also, have you considered using decimal values (i.e. "4.5/5", or "1.3/5")?

Perhaps people just view what you're saying as more of a fact; they need to realize it's an opinion. : )

~~~
That being said, I love this icon; the artistry is vibrant, the wolf really looks alive. I'm a little off-put by the style; it's definitely in-keeping with your regular style, but as usual struggles a bit (IMO) in comparison with Blizzard icons; would need a lot more contrast and such. However, for non-in-game settings, this is great.
Since Hive's rating system is out of 5, anything else would give people an inaccurate idea of what my rating is as they have to wonder whether I round up or down.
Ah, I didn't realize you were basing this off of the Hive's system (to be completely honest, I've never actually used it myself; tend to ignore Ratings altogether. Just kind of a popularity contest IMO). That being said, I still can't help but wonder if some modularity would help you out. : )
(Any thoughts on my PM?)
