Sin'dorei300: I don't think it's 50% freehand, but anyways:
The dagger doesn't looks pinned in the poster.
Additionally, the dagger clashes with the other stuff in the icon, coz lacks texture and doesn't stands out enough.
Lastly, the adhesive tapes need to distinguish better from the paper...

He did not make the background, it was from Google Images. So is this approval-able, because images on Google are copyrighted?

Oh right he did. Uhm I don't know then. I mean the idea is nice and all. But 50% of the icon is c'n'p and the letters are not hand drawn either.

All that aside. I think you need to make the dagger stand out more. It's kinda hard to see as it is right now.
