Looks great though the Lightning is not that noticeable in the icon because of also the dark background but I do understand you are not trying to emphasize the lightning because its just a part of the storm so overall, looking good. But try to make the lightning bigger. That is all and 4/5. Great job and +4 REP!

Chaosy, I did add a little glow, but then reduced it, probably should have kept it hmm..
and the lightning is from .. white-blue to 255 255 255 white.. so, I can't make it anymore brighter. I mean, the main lightning. The sparklings are a bit bluer and darker, cuz I didn't want them to catch attention..but I guess a little glow would do nicely here
