You need to add some shading to your staff and background if you want it to stand out. Increase the contrast, and maybe the proportion of the staff to its headpiece. It looks more like a wand...

Aw, it`s eye-cuttingt. As rest of your icons needs a lot of work. Better shape, shadings, colors, background, etc. You need to practise more. But so far this one is the best...
