zombie2279: Some more shading on the fork, a stronger tone of highlight on the uppoer part and a better visible and some more contrast on the outlines would do well. Some burnt/fried parts as seen on the pic you posted would also look well.

In my opinion, it needs a lot of work done to it. It needs a lot more shading or it will not be approved.

My rating on this is Lacking, it needs a lot of work done to improve it and make it look like a "Sausage".

Alright, first off check this out.

Thats why the part that is cut open is pink. Because thats the color of the cooked meat. Only the outside skin is a red-brown.
Also, whats wrong with the shading? Please elaborate. Thanks

It needs more shading, overall. And that sausage is not cooked in that picture, if it were cooked it would be darker. And the icon does not look realistic.

I admit yesterday I tried not to look at this icon because the sausage looked like something else.
Well, Coinblin, you have a sausages image over there. Try to recreate it on your icon. Make the contrast a little more noticeable, add a few darker areas, and the tiny the black points! It's looking good, but I'm sure it can become even better!

Thank you! I admit that I went about it all wrong the first time, thinking that having a cut open end on the sausage would make it seem more creative! I guess it only made it suggestive.
