enjoy: Looks like it was made in paint. The sword doesn't look like a sword, and the background just hurts my eyes. The object (in this icon, the sword) should be the thing standing out. Not the background. The background needs to be toned waaaaay down. Rejecting this, because starting other would be easier for you. Try looking at some tutorials for shading, highlights and weapons. We have weapon tutorials here on hive. Try taking a look at our Tutorials section.

The sword should be a bit more edited, shaded, and it should have a bit different purple than the background. Keep it up.
