I used purple because out of all the lightnings I've seen, most of them are purplish. So that's why I used purple.

Reminds me of this a lot
Your icon is a little too constant in color to be effective and look like it's in motion, and I'm afraid it's a little too realistic to fit in with the ladder icons.
