Honestly? This is exactly what I was searching for like 2-3 Days ago, when I created an Illidan Hero for my Map.
But sadly there wasn't ANY Illidan symbol at all on The Hive, so this is an great looking and amazing Addition. Thank you for adding this. First time I rate something 5/5.
But yeah since I gotta stay constructive gotta add something to think about maybe.
The hairs on his head look a bit weird. Skater-Justin Bieber Stylish, but on your Reference-Picture they look more like long hairs that go to the side.
Maybe you could rework that a bit, and I would love it even more, but that's just my personal guess!

You could think about the background, the shape is hardly visible and melting with the background.

Yes, u've reproduced the reference nicely, but like u see in the artwork, the bg is helping the figure to stand out.
I tend to agree with Ardenian.
I suggest u to try to put in value his hair, his shoulders, his ears and the right side of the face (to distinguish them somehow from the bg in the small icon).
