Sin'dorei300: The perspective of the first version is better than the current one's, but the effects of the current one are better than the old one's. Try to make a combination between the two.

Apheraz Lucent: Not doing this often but I'll moderate over Sin's mod just to clear out the icon section. I've pretty much said everything I wanted in the posts bellow, and this is a great artwork of many uses. Fantastical.

Tell me if am wrong, but the old version has problems with perspective, hasn't it ? A straight 'glow' in the middle and curving wisps look strange, in my opinion.

The new version looks great !

The middle one is the Hero (Io, the Guardian Wisp). The problem is I forgot to save a psd file, because the rotating wisps looks messy and doesnt look really really good.

The old one's perspective looks better to me, as straight from the top look doesn't inspire too much of a movement, nor it has any depth. However, I like the effects from the newer one more.

Simple copy-paste of render from one icon to another won't affect the quality in any way in 64x64 window
But you can always stretch both icons to 256, combine, and they'll look just as fine when they have their borders applied.

In my opinion it makes it look less like a wisp, doesn't it ?

Render, effects, particles - it's just perfect now. You sure do learn fast
If there's one thing to do before it's final, it's to reduce the trail of the one spirit in the bottom, to match the tail length of other (dynamical symmetry).

Nonetheless, it's stunning.

Thanks again. It didn't correctly updated, the update only shows for BTN and DISATC.

Oh yeah too much particle for the other spirit. I'll update it tomorrow.

It shows for all icons for me - sometimes you need to hit CTRL + F5 twice for it to take the effect. That's why it's simpler to add changelogs in the form of attached images, and it also shows exactly what and how much was remade

Io! Oh these is great. The glow in the middle makes the wisp looks more unwispy.

The old one looks to me is for the OG wisp and the new one is best for other variant of wisp. So maybe post both icons, is the people to decide which one they want .
