I just made a "unit add ability" trigger and when I order the bot with the ability to attack move it uses the ability when fighting. Now that's just awesome but why does it work? I thought bots don't use custom abilities? :vw_wtf:

Of course changing the order string makes a huge difference. Another string is another ability.

Hm, yes, I think it works this way. But, of course, the unit has to have the ability based on Shockwave with the altered string.

Be careful though, the AI will always use the custom spell as if it were the original spell.

If for example you would make an ability based on Blizzard that heals instead of doing damage, giving it to the AI will result in the AI casting it on masses of enemies units in the hopes of doing damage.

In object editor it's essentially read-only. It looks like you can change it, but you can't. This is the order that's used to cast the ability though, you just can't change it in most cases. So the reason why it's there is so you could know what order to use.
