Boss Ideas

I am looking for Idea's for bosses for a "endgame" like enviroment where you must do alot of thinking to defeat a boss. I am looking for any suggestions to to use in my ORPG which will have alot to do with endgame. I will use any suggestions that I like and I will inform you that I am using it. All bosses will have atleast more than 250k health.

Well, the first thing I would do is make it attack with a ranged artillery attack. That way, attacks can be dodged through skill, not just luck. Also give it a nasty melee cleave attack just so that it can beat the stuffing out of tank heroes. Then, make the boss vulnerable to damage only if certain actions or abilities are used, e.g. activating something in the environment to temporarily incapacitate the boss. Splash damage and large AOE spells are pretty much a must for a big nasty boss

I love it, I also have a stand in Pitlord boss with cleave(awesome for random agro shifts(kills pretty much all melee dps)) so this hero will pretty much have:

-dodgeable splash missle
-melee attack with cleave and high damage
-high armor and resistant skin
-must damage something in enviroment(like a support beam or switch) to weaken boss(reduced armor/remove resistant skin for x seconds)

This looks like one of the harder bosses, I may just have to change around some stuff to keep it mysterious.

Before we continue:

-The boss has cleaving attack
- The boss has ranged attack w/o homing.

You cannot put CA + range attacks, use barrage or something.
 
Here is a boss idea: Some sort of water creature (like a hydra).

The arena is a mix of shallow/deep water, there are several buttons around the edge of the arena, each button has a lever behind it, which you can attack.

You can attack the boss, but you cannot kill it with attacks or spells and the boss cannot attack you.

The arena has a timer, and if you haven't beaten the boss, when the timer is up, the arena is flooded and everyone dies.

You beat the boss by flipping every one of the levers, which creates a tidal wave that knocks the boss out fo the arena onto a bunch of pointy rocks, which kills it (the heros have to get out of the way or the tidal wave, there is a 5 second delay on the way), any hero caught in the wave meets the same fate.

But, to make it hard, the hydra automatically steps on the buttons by the lever, which flips the level back and you have to flip it again.

The hydra has an assortment of spells (all of which stun, no actual damage), some of which you can dodge, others you cannot.
