Bleach Wars 3.1c

Bleach Wars is an AoS between the Shinigami Forces and the Hollows of Hueco Mundo. There are 39 Heroes from the anime to choose from, each with vJASS triggered spells and most with custom models. Most Heroes have a special type of Ultimate (Ban Kai) which grants them new abilities for 90/120s. Each time they use these abilities, it consumes time from Ban Kai. However, when killing creeps or Heroes, time is restored. This makes it easier to distinguish better players as this system allows them to go on a killing spree. Each Hero has the Evasive Skills item that allows them to be immune to damage for 1.5s, with a 20s cd. This makes Bleach Wars a game of reflex, timing, skill and experience.

dude theres a balance essues.. why some/or i say mostly heros/players in the hollows realm dont do any damage even normal attack dont work..like kaiba,ulquira hes cero is not dmging any enemy..the dmg is too low it cant kill normal creeps..:hohum:

Normal attack doesn't work? I'll look into it, but probably they just don't deal enough damage. Buy some items and it should be fine. Cero is super powerful, there's no way it can't be killing creeps lol...

We played 1 on 1 and....well maybe it's WC3 version? becouse ulqiorra had a nice dmg and a cero was working nicely and dmging quite good...
we didn't test much but ulqi is one of my fav chars

Oh...your warcraft version must be 1.23b+ then? That's a possibility. Very strange, I'll test a bit more. I'm also releasing a quickfix version, because of some bugs and I think spell damage is too high so I'm lowering it.

Anyone else not dealing any damage? ;p...

Edit* Just tested 1vs1 in local with Ulquiorra and Ichigo. As soon as I got to level 3 with Ulquiorra, I learned Cero and kill
a unit with it...so it does damage. His physical attack also does damage. I cannot possibly understand why it wouldn't
work. Cero is just Carrion Swarm x10, so it should never fail. A possibility is that the version I submitted corrupted
while uploading or memory consumption was too high from other applications. I don't think there's anything wrong with
your warcraft. I can test with you, arphax ;o.

The last unlikely possibility is that your game time was greater than 9600s or...2.6hr, because I created a timer which most spells rely on.

v3.1 is now in development. It will bring back the AI that many have waited for. I will try to make the AI in par of intelligence as the one in Dota, if not better, because Bleach Wars is actually AI friendly. I have tested and AI can time Evasive Skills perfectly.

Edit* v3.0a released. Get it on Epicwar. Things are balanced here. Spells do about half damage to Heroes now. Many bugs are fixed.

This map is soooo awesome ^^ But is it possible to reduce the size of the map, because when I host it, it takes quite a bit of time for people to dload it and makes most of the people leave >.<

Hey Tennyo, like the update on 3.0a, but i noticed a bug. I saw a kenpachi in one game that was unable to leave the shopping area and was stuck there for the rest of the game. Please investigate and do what u can to fix this.

Oh and btw, I still dont like kyoraku's and ukitake's ultimate spells. They should do more dmg instead of just healing or giving spell immunity and stuff like that

I apologize for inactivity. I hardly go on these forums anymore. I will be active on the forums when I release the next version that works for the latest patch. It will probably be released sometime this week. Next version has new terrain, 3 new Heroes (Hirako Shinji, Hachi and Stark), and several bug fixes and balances. The fountain is on the same map so there won't be any more teleporting.

There's new terrain, 2 new Heroes (Shinji and Hachi), cosmetic changes, neutral creeps, deny and rune spawning
You can type -nn (game mode) if you're Player 1 to turn off neutral creeps. Again, cheat mode works if you're in single player mode. There's been a lot of rebalancing. I added new models for Shinigami units and structures. Even though there's more, the map size is actually smaller since I did all the compression I could. There were a lot of Hero rebalancing such as Zommari having a new skill instead of Cero. I made a lot of cosmetic changes to Hero spells to give them more eyecandy. Oh yeah, less spell damage overall since the last version made things a nukefest. ( I will update the changelog later)

-It's compatible with both versions of Warcraft since I recoded everything using KT_Timer instead of TimerUtils

Some bugs are when you random SOMETIMES not all the time you might lose your charc, idk what causes it and i can't reproduce but maybe check in on it.

Also shinji = untargetable unless hes in his hollow form, idk if this was meant to be like this but it's annoying to say the least.

Hey I noticed some bug/balance problems while playing,
- Shinji is impossible to click

- Orihime is kind of overpowered atm, if you could reduce her range and nerf Tsubaki a bit I think she'd be fine.

-Hachi is really weak late game (you can blink out of his sealing spheare), he needs some work

also is there anyway you can replace run with something else? maybe you can use the dash that Byakuya uses in his lvl2 bankai instead (no dmg of course). My favorite chars Ikkaku and Kenpachi are really boring..though thats just my opinion, almost like they're missing something.

I am aware of the Shinji issue. I'll fix it probably in a quickfix version. I'll also address the balancing issues. Hachi's Ultimate is actually a bug since I forgot to make it so that you can't just Shunpo out of it.

About Run, I don't think there's anything wrong with it. You can actually cover more distance than Shunpo with it. I don't want to make it like Byakuya's skill since Kenpachi's Forward Slash does that and having 2 of the same skill doesn't really make sense. Ikkaku and Kenpachi are the melee kind so even though they might be your favourite characters, the play style doesn't match you since they don't have flashy spells or nukes. Their abilities are meant to improve their performance in melee combat. Test around with other Heroes.

I forgot to add two things one the fountain heals mana at around 2-4 mana a sec, when you revive it takes forever to fully heal. Can you add a +regen item, something like Hougyakou "Release true potential" adds 200% mana regen, + X HP regen, and some dmg? but make it so Kaien Shiba can't use it, he already has like +10hp regen passive. Maybe a spell shield item added to the secret shop that can block a spell every XX seconds, 45 or less?

The update is great Tennyo, and if you can quickly post the fix version of the shinji bug and other bugs you find for the next version that will be great. But i still find some things in the game that can b changed for improved game play

1.Flash step: You increased the cool down, but also increased the range of it in the past few versions. But i think having a 9 second cooldown when your flash step skill at lvl 3 is a bit too long. I think you can reduce the range of it by a little but also make the cd to like 6 seconds by level 3, cuz i think a 9 sec wait is a bit much for an important move like flash step.

2. Kenpachi's Forward Slash: I dont like the spell animation and mechanics of the spell at all. It just rushes uncontrolbly forward and hits anything that gets in the way of the intended target. It is also takes quite a while for the spell to reach its target. I think you should increase the aoe effect of this spell or make it hit its target faster and not let creeps or other heroes get in the spell path.

thats all i have to complain about for now, other than that, great map, best bleach map out there imo.

Theres also other things that i would like to complain about and that i hope will be changed in the next few versions:

1. I dont know why u replaced Aizen's swap spell with Hollowfication. Its quite useless on aizen and it doesnt fit well with his fighting style at all. You should give him his swap move back. Also, you should change his Black Coffin spell back to original effects, it should target one unit but it should do more damage and have it lower movespeed and attack speed more. You should also change the spell animation for it too, it just looks like black getsuga surrounding it and then the coffin in the middle, it should just b a black cube that surrounds the unit.

2. Why doesnt Ulquiorra's release give him any atk spd or move spd bonus? All he gets is a dmg bonus. I think giving him an atk/ms or an agi bonus will make his release more like what he is in the real Bleach(he was faster than hollow bankai Ichigo in his 1st release)

3. Also about the flashstep, i honestly think the cd for them is too long (15>12>9 secs) i think you can reduce it to 11>9>7 , it would make battles more exciting and players can rely on using flash step as a saver skill more often.

Also i hav another issue regarding Aizen. His images spell is too weak, I mean at lvl 1 his images take 400% dmg and do only 10 % dmg, i think you should give it a buff.

Sorry, I have been busy the last couple days. I'll try to get a release in before I go on holiday.

Aizen - I changed his Black Coffin again. The spell does the same thing, except the effects are different. It's now black and green instead of black and red. I know this isn't exactly what you wanted, but I meant it to be that way. For his Mirror Image spell, I'll just shorten the cooldown.

Ulquiorra - His Ultimate is actually strong enough so he doesn't need increased movement speed or attack speed. It might make sense, but would make him imbalanced.

Flash Step Cd - I may decide to bring the cooldown to 14/11/8 seconds.

Kenpachi - Yeah, I'll probably increased the AoE slightly.

hey thanks for the replay tennyo, sry if i sounded like a pushy ass in my last few commments, I just really love this map and want to see it continuing its perfection and as the best bleach map out there, thanks to you. As for ulquioora , i still think you should give him a small atk spd and move spd bonus and lower the his atk dmg to make it fair and make it more real to what his release should do for him as in the real Bleach. And I think the spell animation for ur new black coffin is great, its gonna look more original and real than the one you have now.

Im glad u making some fixes that I recommended, cuz i honestly feel like they will help improve gameplay experience for all players of this map, not just me.

And final things to note and some suggestions i want to make for ur next few updates:

1. Are you going to get rid of Aizen's hollow spell and give him back his swap spell? I honestly think you need to, cuz that hollowify spell kinda fails for Aizen's overall spell set and combo abilities with his spells. If not, plz get rid of that hollowfy spell and give him a completely new spell that gives him better combos with the rest of his move set, cuz that hollow spell just doesnt fit in....

2. Saijin Komamura's (7th captain fox guy) shikai spell or his stun spell (i forgot which one) is too slow, i think you should speed it up a bit, cuz it can b dodged easily.

3. I also think some missle nuke spells can have increased range, like cero,gran rey cero,cero oscuras, getsuga tensho, hitsugaya's shikai, etc. Cuz the spell animation looks like it hits the target, but it doesnt do dmg or effect at all. So PLZ consider to increase the range of those spells in sync with its spell animation.

New Version out! ~v3.1b
The way I number these versions is misleading. I change the letters for big updates such as Hero revamps and multiple bug fixes. For epic changes such as new terrains and items, I will change the number so actually, the changelog is extremely long for this version. I made many of the suggested changes, Roguewave, such as fixing Kurohitsugi's spell effect, improving Komamura's Fissure speed and giving Aizen back his old Swap spell.

I'll post the changelog tonight. Anyways, enjoy.

Btw, the next version, v3.2 won't come out for maybe 1-2 months. I'll be less active since school is starting for me. Hint: *There'll be AI, good AI

GREAT JOB TENNYO, the Aizen revamp on his black coffin and getting his swap spell back was just what I was hoping for, and the shinji and hachi bugs are fixed so great for that! But I still have suggestions to make this game more perfect and balanced(some chars u sort of neglected to balance, like yoruichi, which i talk about below)..

Im hoping for in your next versions is that you can change Ichigo's bankai abilities, Speed Demon, and the lvl 2 bankai spell(the one where it will kill a target with 350 hp or less). I think the speed demon passive ability shouldnt just give a speed and atk boost depending on the flashstep, i think it should be an active spell where ichigo gains atk and movespeed boost for a certain amount of time, or you can keep it a passive move, but make it so that it lowers his flashstep cool down by a few sec since the boost depends on the flash step. As for the quick draw move(the one where its instant kill to a target below 350 hp) If you ever played dota, I think you should make it more like Axe's ultimate spell, where it will still do dmg to the target, but a definite kill if a target is below a certain amount of hp( and 350 is too low by the time of late game, I think you should increase it to 550 or 650) and speed up the spell animation.

For Ulquiorra's Hierro Passive skill, I understand that you nerfed the dmg because you increased his atk spd for his release, but I think the passive itself giving only +20 dmg at level 5 and makes him seem weak when he isnt in his release form. I think you should also give him an armor increase or a move speed increase along with the damage to make him stronger in his non-release form. You also seemed to nerfed his Garganta Spell( it does 270 dmg now compared to like 300 something before) i think you should make it back to 300 dmg or have it lower more atk/move speed. Also, if you can find a skin for his 2nd release form that you can use for his level 2 bankai (bleach battle bladers has one) that would be great.

For Tousen, I think he is a sorta under powered character. Can you increase the duration of his bankai, I think its a bit short, maybe from 13 sec to 16/17? And for his Black Flames spell, can you make it so that units caught in the spell get a lower move speed?, cuz that spell is pretty easy to dodge or you can increase the damage of it level by level. I think those changes will make tousen a more balanced player among the others

And Yoruichi is an underpowered Character too. When she isnt in her release form, her rapid fire move is pretty bad for killing, it does too little damage, it cant even kill a group of creeps! I suggest you increase the damage of this from 400 total(33 each for 12 targets) to like 1000 total(like around 80 each), or give her a better damage move, cuz besides her having fastest atk speed in the game she is pretty underbalanced in terms of damaging moves. I also think that yoruichi should get some kind of move speed increase or give her lower flash step cooldown to make her more accurate to what specializes in bleach(flash steps!)

Also for a final note, can you change Ichimaru's skin to his Hueco Mundo Arc uniform? I think it would be cooler. And his sword with his model looks kinda weird in these versions, it looks too thick, lol.

Also, GIVE MAYURI A SKIN. I think this will make him a more popular character, cuz he is often neglected cuz he just doesnt look "cool"( i mean the frikin alchemist skin looks ugly) SO PLZ GIVE MAYURI A SKIN, Bleach Battle Bladers has one if you want to take it from that map.

You still havent really changed Kenpachi's forward Slash move. It still gets stopped if you run into a creep or any other object that isnt your intended target, and the rushing toward the target could use a bit of a speed boost in spell animation and make the spell duration longer. And the AoE increase is barely noticeable(dont kno if u did it or not) but I think it should do partial damage to all units it passes by during the spell animation before it finally its the intended target

I appreciate your suggestions. They're always very helpful. I'll definitely revamp Yoruichi somehow in the next version.

For Tousen, I think I'll add a stunning effect to his Shi Kai: Benihiko, maybe 1.5s when maxed so it can be used together with the flames. I may decide to add 2/3s to his Ultimate, but really, I think it holds Heroes inside pretty well. Also, his default skill, Shi Kai: Nake helps him kill Heroes as it has an AoE slowing effect.

For Ulquiorra, I think I'll increase the movement speed reduction of his Garganta to 75% when maxed, for 3s. For his second release form, I can't find a model to go with it, so I'll probably keep him in first release. Besides, his skill set is filled so I don't have room to add any. Ulquiorra is pretty powerful as he is.

The Mayuri model /skin used in Bleach Blade Battlers is private so I'm going to look around for an artist to make me one or I can try to make one myself.

*Edit: I did increase Kenpachi's AoE for his Forward Slash, but I don't think that fixes the problem. If I make it too big, it might even stop from creeps behind him. Perhaps I'll increase the speed and shorten the cooldown a little bit.

Ah Thanks for hearing me out Tennyo, and also did you read about my suggestions for ichigo? I hope u agree with me on it.

I also think you should consider Revamping Ukitake Jushiro(13th captain guy with white hair) He is a seriously underated/underpowered character in the map because his spell set is quite boring, its pretty much full of healing and anti-spell moves. I really think he needs a damage move. If you have read the bleach manga chapter where he fights Starks, he uses a reflect move with his shikai. I think you should give him that in the next version or remake him with a completely new spell set with more nukes/dmg moves.

As for Kenpachi's forward slash, I think the main problem with it is that it fails to hit the target that you want to hit if a gay creep or some other shit gets in its way. I think you should remake it so that it ignores unit pathing, and just hits the target you select. If you dont like that idea, then i think another way is to make the spell animation duration longer, 2.5 seconds duration at level 5 at the rate kenpachi is going is too little and will fall short of hitting the target most of the time. I think you should make it to this (1.5 sec> 2.1 sec>2.7>3.3 sec> 4 sec)

K I posted the changelog for people who wanted to see it. Well, I posted most of it since it was damn long.

Here's what I think will be good for Forward Slash

Kenpachi dashes forward towards the target location, dealing damage to the first enemy unit in his path. If the first enemy unit is a creep, Kenpachi knocks it aside and keeps going until he hits another creep or reaches the target location.

*That way, it you're after a Hero, unless there's 2 creeps in your way, he won't stop. I'll leave the stun duration as it is.

For Ukitake, I'm aware he may seem underpowered. Actually, there's an item build you can use to make him really effective and unkillable, but generally, he will be support and be unable to kill Heroes. Regardless whether he's actually weak or not, I will revamp him anyways since his skill set is off from the anime. I am doing the same for Kyoraku, Ukitake's partner captain.

Edit* I just read your suggestion for Ichigo. I think that the only part I will change is his KO Strike so it'll be like Axe's in Dota. His current skill, Speed Demon has synergy with his Hollow Form since the damage bonus along with bonus attack speed makes him a killer melee. His Getsuga Tenshou and Black Moon Fang are used to chase down enemy units.

Ah thanks for hearing me out once again tennyo. And is it true that you wont be releasing another update in 1-2 months?!?!?:( Ill be hella upset if thats true, I know your busy with school as i am too, but 1-2 months is dam long for big fans of this map like myself! I mean i host this map every chance i get

Since the next version is AI, I will only release it if it's complete. I mean, AI will play all Heroes (except Bounto Twins since there's two of them and it's a pain to code) and they will play effectively. This will take 1-2 months.

I intended to start coding the AI only when I was done with the Heroes, meaning all the skills were pretty much set. Otherwise, I would have to go back and change the code if I change spells. However, this wasn't the case since I had to do a lot of revamping. So if I revamp the Heroes before working on the AI, I guess I will be able to release versions before then.

Well I was hoping that you could release an update with some of the suggestions i made to the heroes with regard to making them more balanced like yoruichi, tousen, and possibly fixing kenpachi's forward slash like next week or so, but if you're the type that likes to do alot of updates in one version than doing fewer and more frequent updates, then the choice is all up to you
