An atmospheric top-down survival horror shooter experience for Warcraft III: Reforged, inspired by iconic games of the same genre such as Resident Evil, Dead Space, and SIGNALIS. Explore the depths of a space station atop the gas giant G-120, and uncover the dark secrets of the Genesis project as Cain Ryder, a recently transferred officer of Moebius Security Delta.

COMPLETE OVERHAUL
Black Out - Hollow Genesis uses the latest Reforged natives to completely change up the gameplay and interface style to provide a fresh new experience. As well as integrating WASD movement controls and mouse keys for aiming and shooting just like any other modern video game.

CLASSIC STORY-BASED GAMEPLAY
As you explore, you will find weapons and items that will aid you during your time in Moebius Station, as well as terminals and documents with information about life inside the station. Uncover the fate of the station's passengers, and seek the truth behind the Genesis project.

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Items are scarce around the station, ammunition even more so. Manage your health, ammunition, and equipment as you traverse Moebius Station. You can only carry a limited amount of items, so make sure to only bring the essentials to your survival.

INTENSE COMBAT ENCOUNTERS
The station is filled with various enemies. They are aggressive, tough, and relentless. You'll have to think, move, and shoot fast if you want to survive. Make every shot count, and do your best to keep out of their reach.

IN DEVELOPMENT
Black Out - Hollow Genesis is mostly being developed by Winter (me), with Wazzz providing essential concepts and writing for the project. Originally, this map was just an excuse to make use of all the sci-fi assets on the Hive and practice my skills on doing custom UI but as of late it has developed into something far more exciting. It is still early in development, so a release date won't be specified just yet, but we are aiming to release a playable demo within the year for everybody to try out.

PREVIEW VIDEO:

NOTE: These previews are all in early development and are subject to change. They do not represent the final product.

Love me some futuristic style in wc3, especially night/dark operations like this!
Looks like singleplayer would fit this the best, atmosphere and all (how is the lag online with wasd and mouse aim?).

Anyway, looking further for the release of the demo.

It is intended to be a single-player experience without any plans for multiplayer, so no need to worry about lag.

The preview makes it look like a whole different game. Great job with these assets and custom UI.
Do you plan to release a campaign with few missions or just a singular level? Either way looks promising.

Oh, and is it set in any particular universe or some made up sci-fi setting?

Been a while since I worked on this due to some important IRL stuff such as my classes, but just here to say progress is still going, mostly on the technical side as I have had to rework the movement system as well as additional UI elements.

Unsure yet, but initial release will most likely be a single map. If the scale ever becomes bigger, it will either become a map pack or a campaign.
The setting is completely made up by my script-writer @Wazzz and I, and we're quite excited to eventually show off our own take on the stereotypical sci-fi horror genre.
