Beyond The Horizon is a co-op hero defense map which stresses more on team work than overpowered solo play.
Unlike any other Defense maps, In BtH, there are two teams, each consisting of 4 players.
The objective here is to make sure that your Eye, i.e, your main building, has more health than than opposing team's Eye or to simply destroy the opponents' Eye.
No direct combat would take place, instead, players will have the ability to hire creeps to attack the opposition.
After selecting a hero, you have to defend your respective Eye from the waves of monsters.
Gold can be used to either buy items for your hero or spawn creeps to attack the opposing side.
The reason I started this map because I like playing Hero Defense maps with my brothers via LAN but they are overpowered, imbalanced, unorganized. unpolished and lacked replayability.
In this map I aim to make:
+Progressively harder waves
+Smarter creeps and bosses
+Balanced skills and stats
+Cleaner interface (tooltips, descriptions, etc.)
+Dungeon (?)
+Duels (FFA, 4v4)
+Events (Special Waves, Bonus Rounds, Mini Games, Weather)
Gold
- Gold is used to buy items and hire creeps.
- Gold is gained when you kill enemy units.
- 1 gold is granted to every player every 0.8 seconds
Honor
- Honor is used to buy tomes, and special creeps
- Honor is gained when you kill an enemy hero (in duels)
- 1 honor point is granted to every player every 300 seconds (5 minutes)
- Gold is used to buy items and hire creeps.
- Gold is gained when you kill enemy units.
- 1 gold is granted to every player every 0.8 seconds
Honor

- Heroes can level up to a maximum of 30 levels.
- Each hero has 1 Innate ability, 3 Standard abilities, 1 Advanced ability and 1 Ultimate.
- Innate ability has 6 levels, automatically upgrading every 5 levels.
- Standard abilities have 7 levels each, with a level skip requirement of 2.
- Advanced ability has 6 levels, with a level requirement of 6 and a level skip requirement of 5
- Ultimate has 3 levels, with a level requirement of 15 and a level skip requirement of 4
- Each hero has 1 Innate ability, 3 Standard abilities, 1 Advanced ability and 1 Ultimate.
- Innate ability has 6 levels, automatically upgrading every 5 levels.
- Standard abilities have 7 levels each, with a level skip requirement of 2.
- Advanced ability has 6 levels, with a level requirement of 6 and a level skip requirement of 5
- Ultimate has 3 levels, with a level requirement of 15 and a level skip requirement of 4
- Up to 100 waves (Might be increased)
- Each level contains 5 waves of creeps
- Boss level every 5 waves
- Air level every 14 waves
- Immune level every 30 waves - Special events/waves every 20 levels
- Each level contains 5 waves of creeps

Spawn Tentacles
..Summons an immobile tentacle which attacks hostile units, slowing their movement speed by 50%, attack speed by 25% and dealing 8 damage per second for 8 seconds.
Fear
..Lets loose a cold chill across an area, reducing hostile units armor by 5 and attack damage by 50%
