It feels like this one was inspired by a bunch of things. I can clearly see some Protoss Observer's stuff, the eye itself reminds SC1 Zerg Overmind portrait, maybe some Necron vibe here and there. The tails or tentacles are something straight from the Aquanox, as there are some semi-mechanical squids. Overall it is solid and quite unique looking monster.
