The basis of battleships has intrigued me, how buying items gives you new attacks, almost as though its the item that is attacking. I wanted to make a map that uses a similar concept but is not boat related in anyway, the only probably is I cant learn from the map because its protected and i haven't found a guide anywhere that would explain how to make a similar effect. If anyone could unprotect the map for me so i could see how it was done or send me a post on how to create a similar effect, it would be greatly appriciated and they would get royalties on my map.

Thanks

what you do is you make 1 unit for every weapon, you dont have to name them because they wont show anyways unless u want to be orginized... make each unit very very small, collision, pathing, model everything really small. then for each type of weapon, you make the unit based on the weapon (flamethrower = flame attack with slow projectile and fast attack and low damage or something) then you use triggers to move it to position of the hero using the item every .1 seconds and that will attack from the ship

Thanks and sorry, i didnt know what forum to put in under. Me being new and all

I once played battle ship maps and found this out.
In most of them the attacking is based on the ability permant imolation or something that phionxes. They simply give the ability to an item.
Other battle ship maps are very complex and need alot of complex triggers. In this sort the guns can actualy be damaged. I do not know how they make the guns damageable.

P.S. Sorry for bad spelling
