Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 100.0 KB (whichever is smaller).

which is untrue. my old Avatar was 2272 x 1704 and 848.0 KB
and my new one is 2272 x 1704 and 657.0 KB

Your avatar is 100x75. I think the scripts scales the image to fit our rules: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/customavatars/avatar125072_2.gif
