Just move to pure JASS already and save yourself the hassle. WC3 GUI is just so terrible to use that a recent experience with it almost gave me a headache.

The idea behind GUI is perfectly acceptable. Just the way it is in WC3 is so bad it is a nightmare to use. SC2 GUI on the other hand is very nice to use.
 
I would move to JASS but I'm pretty new to it and get easily confused. Maybe eventually. I already have Attack Type setup in my Persistent Beam system, and was gonna use it to filter out magic-immune units. I guess I could always turn a boolean to true if the variable is Magic, and then use that in the if/then/else.
