attachment with item

I don't understand how to attach a model when an unit get an item...
i tried to follow the attachment tutorial but i didn't understand it.

can you explain it again to me? pls help me

Do you mean.....

A unit picks up an item and when that item is picked up it causes the unit to change to a different unit?

he means that the item will show up as a sword or axe or w/e it is on the unit's hand.

Well, in the item, you need to have an ability on it.
something like a dummy spell aura that does no effect and affects no one.

then for the Model file of the dummy spell, you place the sword attachment or w/e you downloaded from this site, and set the attachment modifier to --> hand,right or hand,left
depending on which hand you want it to go.

just like how the brilliance aura shows up on the unit, the base of the feet which the attachment is called --> origin.

Yes of course my german friend.
Click on "Edit" then on "Advanced".
Find "Manage Atachments", click on it.
Choose the file you want and then click on Upload.
Then press okay and the picture is uploaded.
