Attaching a weapon? o_0

Hi, im making a map. I wanna attach a weapon, but im not sure how. Also this is the only forum that had anything to do with this. If this is a wrong forum, please tell me and tell me which forum I can go to for this problem. Im not sure if I can only attach weapons to cetrain units.
