Weapon attachments

I'm having a problem attaching a weapon to this model: https://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/villagerman-48148/?prev=search=infantry&d=list&r=20
It's supposed to carry weapons (would be kinda useless if he wasn't), but weapon attachments appear on a weird place and also don't follow it's carrier animations.
Is it because of weapon or villager model?

well I didn't download the map but check if the attachment has it's origin or root aligned to the model, or the villager guy has it's "weapon ref" or "hand ref" in wierd places...

Well, i would, but i'm really inexperienced with models.
I was already suggested that, but when i asked the suggester if he can do it, he said to ask in this forum section.

u have the attachment point path set to hand left or hand right (lower case) ? or for helm, head, chest, back, foot left, foot right, origin, overhead. ?

also didnt open the map but I do alot of attachment work

I usueally use the item ability 'capture the flag' then in that ability you can see were to edit the points

I have tried 'weapon', 'hand left' and 'hand right' attachment points, and it seems it looks best on hand right, the unit is holding it, but it has a bad orientation.
And i've tried with multiple attachments, pretty much same happens with others.

I think i didn't set an action for each attachment point in test map, but you can easily add in triggers.

the weapon model is bad. its tilted on the y-axis. have u tried some other attachments? I can fix it but I need permission from the creator to do so

The weapon model is made to be used with the creator's Konstrukt Advanced Marine models, or with other marine or rilfeman-based models. That's why it doesn't work.

Well, since Talon has been inactive for a while, i found some more fitting models that have the same problem.
