Attach Beam between Missile and caster

I want to make an ability that launches a missile to a point. I want there to be a beam attached between the caster of the ability and the missile. How do I do this?

How about just a regular beam attack with a slow casting speed and slow animation (takes time to reach the target) and if you want to have some projectile with it just attach one?

Ok, but how do I do that? I'm not very experienced with using beams.

This is beyond my understanding of the data editor as well.
