Art is a subjective term.
To me, art is anything that evokes a emotions or tries to transfer some form of communication and meaning. Like chopping wood or the art of body building. However, to me, it has to be of visual form (at least what im referring to)

In another sense, I also believe in the bias term of "my opinion" of art, which is the use of skill, effort and time to transfer and emotion or meaning. If it isnt done with the effort and time thats visible, its merely meaningless and isnt trying to convey emotion or communication, its just mindlessness.

Art HELL YES!

Everything is art in one way or another...

As long as you can explain what the art is trying to get across, then it can be art.

It doesn't necessarily have to have lots of detail or colors to be classed as art it could be as simple as a bunch of colored dots that symbolize a face for example.

I'd say many people including me would like your art and class this picture as art, so long as you can explain what it is supposed to be/looks like.

Keep up the goood work,

Also modern art is the sheeeeeet, traditional art is by far superior.

Please recognize a distinction between the different types of abstract art. Where traditional art is often restricting and boring, Abstract allows you to convey whatever feeling, emotion you desire with whatever shape/form you desire.

What you have to see is there's a difference between:

And:

Of course the more simple abstract art can be beautiful in its own right, but some of it is taking things a bit far. (btw, looking at that red pyramid thing kinda starts messing with your eyes - could be a desired affect)

i think, tradional art is better too, and i dont think that u are rly less or more limited to what u can do than abstract, cuz to make abstract art, it cannot be real, to make some thing real, it cannot be abstract alike.

but well, its something we could discuss for long time and its a bit off topic.

i still think its art, but yeah, when i see something too simple in a museum, i rly feel like a 4 years old child painted it, or that the artist was just too lazy, thats why i prefer tradional art.

Not exactly - its more of freedom of form for things like abstract art, to make what you feel fit to make. There is nothing saying what your making can't be realistic, and there's nothing saying what your making has to be realistic. Just make what you want and don't worry about labels, it's when you confine yourself to the definition of a "Traditional" or a "Modern" (well seeing that its modern times and your an artist I'd call you a modern artist) that you lose site of why your making art.

it is art, you're just not the first to do it.
Mondrian did something like that before you were born and at that time, it was
something unique and unseen.

Although, you do realize what you showed just there wasnt done with sporatic random mouse clicks....

The one of above actually takes ALOT of planning and preparing and lots of layers and time.

Who are you to decide what is an isn't art? Art is subjective - you may not think it's art, but I don't believe your the final authority on that.

Perhaps your just blind

(That is if your talking about Mondrian's work - my whole point with Doom's work is that if he himself doesn't think it is art, then why post it?)
