Is there a way to add in more armor and damage types

Im making a new map and wanted to add some more armor and damage types.
Is there a way to do it?

Not really.

You could make a system for custom armor and damage types though. Though it would not be a visible armor type I am afraid.

Visually, I don't think you can, because you are limited to Normal, Piercing, Siege, Chaos, Magic, Hero + Unarmored, Light, Medium, Heavy, Fortified, Divine and Hero. You can always trigger how damage and armor reacts, but the little icons of attack type and armor type is limited to 13.

Mkey. Can i add in a passiv ability then to reduce the damage from all or some types pf damage(i havent played w3 for years and my memory is foggy about this)

Elune's Grace, Spiked Carapace, Runed Bracers, Hardened Skin.

In addition to what DEE-BOO said, you could learn DamageEngine to fully customize damage. However, as others have said, it will not display a different in-game armor or attack type (and will just function differently).
