Introduction

Archimonde's Arena is a Warcraft III: Frozen Throne map where players must choose a unique hero to fight off creeps in an arena-style battle. Heroes each have four different abilities; three normal abilities and an "ultimate".
These abilities in combination make each hero powerful, but teamwork is required in order to defeat all the levels of the game.

News

I am currently rewriting all of the map's code, so that it performs better and there are less bugs. This is going well, but will still take some time.

I am also considering making a PvP (player versus player) version, where players must kill creeps to earn points. The player/team with the most points after each round will win that round, and gain some sort of bonus.
I will obviously need to adapt the current abilities to be able to have heroes fighting against each other. If you have any ideas for this, please let me know.

Features

- Choose from 9 different heroes with unique abilities.
- Special creeps spawn with each level, which have abilities to use against players.
- Fight up to 25 levels of creeps which get increasingly difficult each level.
- Take on 5 bosses which also have 4 abilities each.
- Support for up to 4 players currently.
- Buy custom items and recipies.
- Choose different difficulties and game modes.

I have played this map yesterday and i like it. :)
However, you should work a bit on the terrain (the doodads), but it is okay.
The creeps are well-balanced and the items and the units, too.
As Druu said, create more creative spells with triggers, please. But the lightning storm is really spectacular.
It is a good map, i love playing it.
I rate it 4/5 currently and rep!

what I meant was that you should put 2 anks of resurrection that the game is hard to understand, as good map.

I have a few suggestions:
u should improve terrain and add a space for boss fights
u should add new items
necromancers ultimate shouldn´t destroy trees

If anyone is still interested in this project, I have news:

Love the Idea of a PvP version :D Possibly have it 2v2 or make it allow more players or something Idk just to make all the heroes viable choices otherwise people are going to pick the best 1v1 champs and play like that

Cool, could work. How do you think each round should work? I was thinking of something like this: each hero is teleported at random points in the arena. Creeps then spawn randomly and can be killed by all players. Players gain points for killing creeps, and more points for killing other heroes. At the end of each round the player/team with the most points gains some sort of bonus...

What do you think?

I like the Idea but I'm not sure how well it would work with the whole bonus thing, i feel that will just make one player/team snowball way too hard if they win like 1 round. I think a bounty system would work a lot better than a bonus personally

hey man love your map. found a bug, you cannot pick up items once u drop it. particularly the scrolls and combined items. pls fix thanks

Edit: oh theres a critter that can carry items. interesting
