Yes Ziewb said 1.1m will most likely be out by Christmas. There will be a code wipe but from what i can gather that means there wont be a code wipe going into 1.2.

As for progress on 1.2 Ziewb is being Ziewb and not telling us how long he thinks it will be as far as i know. I don't blame him either because with him being in a University and i assume having a social life its hard for him to know when he can work on it and for how long sadly. I think 1.2 should take as long as 1.1m since it sounds like a good chunk of the terrain is done by that could just be me being optimistic.

There will be a code wipe but from what i can gather that means there wont be a code wipe going into 1.2.

you cannot say that, if theres a serious bug in 1.1m, there will be a codewipe in 1.2

there are 3 possibilities to play it:
-you have the beta key (i dont think so ^^)
-you wait unitl "official" release
-you play DotA in Wc3 (i think you should know that, you can download it on www.getdota.com)
