any coding tools or w/e please help

in a map im making is there any tool that has text codes for example

a player kills a player

and were i have "player" instead of that it has the players username how do i do that? is a tool needed or somthing?

A tool with text codes: Wordpad or Notepad
If u mean in the editor, change the triggers to custom script
