Animation broken after exported

I created a train model and made the animation for its wheels (using 3D Studio Max 9), then I exported it to MDX using NeoDex. I hadn't wrapped it yet, I just wanted to check if the animation worked on wc3. But when I add the model to WE and open the map, the animation looks weird. The wheels keep scaling up and down and other parts get out of place. What could I have done wrong?
