this is my....I have no idea how many models. lost count

I felt this flower necessary as red is really better then white, or yellow, and roses are very lacking in the war craft 3 universe, but felt my flowers getting stale, and old, each just being a slight uv wrap here, a slight re animation there, mostly recolors really... so I came up with a new idea. an EEEVVVILLLL FLOWWEERRRR

but with no green plant to take the green color scheme, I could not choose which flower the red flower should be, either good with green nature lights, or evil with nasty scary red evil lights and thorns. after a month of debating it with friends, and learning a lot from units such as demon hunter and obsidian statue, I decided to make it both.

if this screen shots messy I will update it cleaner.

this unit has all the status to be an advanced ward. I say advanced over basic, as my usual saying goes, as this flower has a lot more to offer then my others.

it has 10 animations, half are alternate animations, they include:


Birth --the normal birth, slowly rises from the ground.
Stand Portrait --the normal stand, acts the portrait.
Stand Work --the normal stand work, emits green lights.
Death --the normal un magical death, emits red petals and green grass
Death Spell --the normal magical death, emits red petals green grass and green lights
Birth Alt. --the birth alternate, slowly rises from the ground with thorns
Stand Port. Alt. --the stand alternate, sways back and forth with thorn bushes
Stand Work Alt. --the stand work alternate, emits evil red glows and red lights
Death Alt. --the death alternate, explodes with red flower petals, and thorns.
Death Spell Alt. --the death spell alternate, emits large red glows, explodes with red flower petals, red fire, streaking red lights inspired by orb of annihilation made red, and a massive cloud of dark green thorns, acting as organic shrapnel that hack you up good.

I did not add Morph, and Morph Alternates as A: I had no idea how to make that look smooth, and B: I saw no purpose for it, unless you're flowers are skitzo or something and C: this models already doubled in size compared to the others so I did not want to kill it for that reason by adding more space you may not want.

if morph and morph alternate are required for this resource with alternates to be approved, I will add them. not sure how, but il figure it out.

use death time seconds set at 1.44 (1.438 if you have the new gen editor, not much difference really) other wise thorns and petals and blades of grass and fire and green lights all alike will vanish before fading properly which looks horrible.

I suggest using the scales between 0.9 and 1.5 for both normal and alternate variations.

I suggest 2 different units using this model, for different purposes, one good and healing one evil and damaging.

side note: this model is so far the only plant that uses a texture called ThornsParticlesV003 and hence is not the most important texture in the world, I realize 3 custom textures is terrible especially with this file size, but the clouds of thorns contrasted behind the red lights are super visible unlike my goblin bomb ward with the nails which are kind of hard to see, and I think these thorns are worth the size my self. I am how ever planning on creating other plants besides flowers that use this texture in the future, Animated Thorns Bushes, so I would say not to discharge this flower just because of this reason even if you are using the others, but if even just 3 people ask me to make a mass deleted version of this with just the good flower, and no alternates/custom thorns texture requirements, I will build a paste bin for one of each--the good flower and the bad.

also, the imported model its self is 61 kbs, and this additional thorns texture is only 15 kbs. making the total file size less if you are already using the other 2 textures.

feel free to edit the model all you want just credit me =)

    actually terrainers like me knows that environment doodads are really cool
    now , im just .... uhm . whyd you use imported materials?
    ^Oh damn nevermind , just saw that it has animations , cool dude , make some more :)

    thank you Stryderzero, glad you like it, I too am a terrainer, I spent 4-5 years with the editor only terraining because I couldn't make great unit data and I knew virtually nothing of triggers. So that compliment means a lot to me =)
