Animated Textures?

There are two kinds of animated textures.

One is where you have different frames of the texture as different BLPs, and you switch between them over time (like a GIF does). This is done by animating the TextureID of a layer of a material in the MDL.

The other is where you move the UV mapping around on top of the texture image. This is done with a TextureAnimation chunk.

The water elemental has examples of both.

I wanted to know how to do this to. Like that cinematic scene where illidan and arthas are fighting they have that woosh like effect on that model of a plane. Like they swing their sword then it shows that model with that animated .blp then it shows the character if you know what i mean.

Think theirs any tutorials around on how to do it? Maybe someone that knows can make one and give him like 10+rep or something nice :).
