EDIT: Completely redoing the idea, mostly because I don't want to deal with all the triggers
New Concept, same name.
An empire apart is a real time strategy game that will allow the player to be in control of an empire, from commanding massive armies to ruling individual villages/towns/cities. Control the economy, each town will produce a specific resource (e.g. iron, steel, gold (gold must be refined to be turned into coin), workers (some towns/villages/cities won't have enough reserves to allow men to be drafted, as each soldier requires a draft), and other special perks/resources.
Unique perks; As you will have to choose one general, that general will be will you throughout your rule of your empire (if he dies, you will lose major morale and also may suffer rebellions from towns that were captured with him). Each general has a specific perk that may grant your whole army bonuses.
Your Empire evolves around you; Imposing strict taxes and always keeping a looming military presence in your towns? Citizens may not mind at first but soon you will be hearing about murmurs of rebellion. Fighting a long war? Citizens will soon be less likely to jump into the draft and more likely to skip, causing major problems with the number of troops your are able to produce, thus forth may cause defeat. Keep the people in mind.
Tired of having to rise to power; This game isn't just about the walk to fame, its about already being in power. You have the option at the beginning to start out with a medium or vast Empire. You may also start out with no empire at all. Each path has its own strengths and weaknesses.
Current Objectives:
Creating Units: 5%
Creating Storyline: 1%
Creating Terrain: 3%
Creating Custom Items: 0%
Creating Triggers: 10%
Stay tuned for more info!
