i know theres probrably 50 threadsof this but none actually answer it for paint shop pro 8... plz help?...

I'm not sure on alpha-ing with PSP 8. I can't get the hang of it and doing it properly, so I don't really recommend it :/

But, it may turn out ok if you:

1. Load up your skin. (must be 32bits .tga)
2. Go to load from alpha channel
3. Select alpha channel 1.
4. Your colour palette should've turned into greyscale. Select the pure solid black 0, 0, 0
5. Use the paint brush or spray and alpha out the part which needs to be removed.
6. Save to alpha channel 1. (no compression)

I do alpha-ing with PSP 7.

lol whats the diff between psp 7-8 :P its probrably harder with that so it will probrably work

actually i think there might be alot of differences... i cant find 'load from alpha channel' :( i guess nobody knows how to alhpa out ... or they just dont like to talk! selfish ppl >_>

my layers toolbar doesnt say anything about alpha, it has rastor vector and mask... and u can make new ones but i doubt i can figure it out :(

Why would you want to add more alpha channels?
That won't help you alpha anything.

You'd alpha'd out the area of the skin which needs to be alpha'd out once the alpha channels are shown.
Then you'd just select the pure 0, 0, 0 black and use the spray or paint brush to alpha the part out. Then save to alpha channel.
