Alchemist - Item Abilities

For my upcoming map, Alchemist, I've hit a snag, and I need someone who is good with vJASS to help me out here.

I have a crapload of potions, but I can't figure out how to give them smooth running abilities. If someone could create a system for me, that would be great, and you would get major credits for it.
