AK-47 (In-game Textures) Update

-Grendel: the wrap is very stretchy in some points. but in the in-game camera, its not noticeable.

Well you cant get the wrap always right when your Working woth low poly

Actually, getting the wrap right simply means lining it up. Regardless of how many polies something has, it's still the same task, and with less polies it's even less work. Trust me, I know... I make nothing but low-poly... With the exception of the ice torso and shield, they're a little high for attachments.

As for this model, I really love it. It looks incredible for something with such a low file size, you've done a great job on it. 5/5. The only wrap issue is a little bit of stretch on the side of the barrel, but as it's attached to a unit in-game nobody would ever notice.

In real life, not all guns look exactly the same as they do in videogames. There are all sorts of variations as each can be customized. One such thing is having a folding stock, or even no butt at all. This does make it resemble a submachine-gun rather than an assault rifle, but it is still an AK-47.

This particular model, however, simply doesn't look like an AK-47 at all. I would like to see the original again, if I remember it correctly I believe it was actually better.

to be honest, i would use different textures for the metal parts..... especially the front part (outer barrel, flash hider and front side).

Well there was many bugs in the old model (messed up texture, many useless polygons,... etc..) but am with you that the old texture kinda fits better
